Sweron’s works are a captivating blend where digital meets traditional. A crisp, digitally inspired paint finish is contrasted with a loose, rough mixed-media background that lends depth and dimension.

His current body of work explores the concept of ‘Mythologising Modernity.’ Each painting seeks to tell a story, viewed through a surrealist lens and infused with distinct fantasy elements. His compositions weave narratives of modern existence, including war, politics, love, sorrow, pain, reflection, and transformation.

Through the Trojan horse of fantasy, and by drawing on myths, legends, fairy tales, and folklore, Sweron attempts to reflect the vulnerability and resilience that shape the human experience.

LEO SWERON (b. 1997, South London, England) currently lives and works in London.
